The processing of images obtained with laser light allows the investigation of any kind of flow (Laminar, turbulent, multiphase, at high temperatures, sub-sonic or super-sonic) with high spatial and temporal resolutions. The imaging analyses techniques (LIF, PIV, PLIF, Raman or Reyleigh light scattering), allow a wide range of measurements of fluid mechanics or combustion.
